Fire Grate for hire

Do you have electric hook up (ehu)?

Yes we do, and more are being added all the time, there are a limited amount at the moment but we are 'on-it', caravans that store with us are given priority, but please check to book?

Do you have a loo block?

Yes we do, she is called 'Loo- Bee Loo'.  We have converted our sheep trailer to meet all your needs and she is happy to look after humans now.

What about showers?

As an active farm we have decided, the most environmentally effective provision, this year especially with continued cases of C19, is to provide showers to hire!

This will consist of a compact, privacy tent, with solar powered shower, within, to discreetly placed adjacent to your tent.   This will be solely for your use during your stay.   Please make sure you request one  before you arrive?

Do you allow dogs?

Of course we do. We have four of our own little bundles of fun.  All well behaved dogs are welcome and there are long and short routes for walks.  We understand that not all campers enjoy a space with dogs and therefore ask that all dogs are on leads for the safety of everyone present.

If your dog causes a nuisance to other campers though, we will have to ask you to keep it with you at all times, maybe in a crate or pup tent.  Dog poop must be placed in the bins provided please. Beacon Fell just up the road has the best dog walks ever.

What age groups to you welcome?

Adults who are staying here with us are able to bring family.  We can not accommodate large groups this time, due to Health and Safety.  We do not welcome stag or hen parties, unfortunately and all single people must be over 21.

Which is the best way to contact you?

Email is best, mosserley@gmail.com

We takes breaks from the farm a couple of times a day and respond to queries then, we may take a little longer if things need our attention please bare with us.

What about noise?

We are a quiet site and ask for no noise between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am please, as a consideration for others, and our farm animals.

As with every farm, there will be some noise of tractors, diggers and vehicles.  The birds chatter early in the morning, but there a very few cars on the roads.  Oh there are sheep across the road too, and gliders from the air field.

Do we need to check in/out at any time?

We would like you to check out at 11:00 am please, to enable us to set up for arrival of the next guests. Check in can be confirmed by email nearer the date of arrival, for tents we suggest 12:00 noon.

Are fires and bbq permitted?

We hire out grate fires with logs, and bbq's are welcome. But we MUST insist that they are placed on the paving slabs provided and raised above the grass.  We can not allow damage to the grass as this is an open field?
